OUR OPPORTUNITY
We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform central Indiana by rebuilding an even better I-65/I-70 Inner Loop.
The recently constructed North Split is just the start. The entire downtown I-65/I-70 Inner Loop is wearing out and must be rebuilt from the ground up. This presents us with an incredible opportunity, but we only have one chance to get it right. Rethink Coalition is working with leaders, stakeholders and residents to drive a design that makes Indianapolis better for everyone.
Why it Matters
This is about more than transportation. The reconstruction of I-65/I-70 will reshape the core of our state, affecting economic development, public space, housing, and public health.
